How to Spot and Avoid the Latest Scam Targeting Canadians

Learn how to spot this rising scam and keep your Ndax account secure.

Important Information

Scams targeting Canadian residents are on the rise, becoming increasingly sophisticated. One of the trending scams involves an automated call warning individuals about a "compromised account." The scammer provides a fake ticket or docket number, followed by someone contacting the victim to request additional credentials or personal information.

Please remember that neither Ndax nor any other legitimate financial institutions will ever request your credentials (username, password, multi-factor authentication codes) or remote access to your device (e.g., through software like AnyDesk or TeamViewer).

If You Receive Such a Call

  • Do not share any personal or account information.
  • Immediately disconnect the call.
  • Report the incident to your local law enforcement agency.
  • Notify the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
  • Reset passwords on any accounts that may contain personal or financial information.
  • Contact the Ndax Support Team to report the incident and secure your account.

Your safety and security are our top priorities. Please remain cautious and alert. For further guidance or support, don't hesitate to contact us.
